FCB Nyasa Big Bullets is thrilled to welcome Zambian defender Dominic Musonda to the club on a one-year contract, with the possibility of an extension.
The 24-year-old left-back joins us as a free agent following his departure from Zambian Super League side Mutondo Stars. Prior to this, Musonda played for Green Eagles between 2021 and 2023. He captured the attention of Peter Mponda’s coaching staff during a successful two-week trial with The People’s Team.
Expressing his joy, Musonda shared, “I’m incredibly grateful for this chance and feel at home here in Malawi. I thank God for this opportunity. While I’m excited about signing the contract, I understand the importance of working hard to earn my place in a team full of talent. I’m proud to join my new family and can’t wait to start contributing on the field.”
Musonda has become Mponda’s fourth defensive signing ahead of the 2025 season, joining Chikumbutso Henderson, Andrew Jovinala, and Blessings Joseph. These additions aim to strengthen the backline following the departures of Gomezgani Chirwa, Nickson Nyasulu, Colin Mujuru, and Precious Phiri.
The new recruit will join the squad traveling to Mponela for a pre-season friendly match against Kamuzu Barracks at Champions Stadium this Sunday.
