FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are kicking off a new chapter in celebrating player excellence with the arrival of HTD Limited as the proud sponsor of the club’s Player of the Month awards.
This strategic partnership, starting from April 2025 through the conclusion of the season, is dedicated to recognising and rewarding exceptional performances across the full squad.
The exciting partnership sees HTD, the official distributor of KIA Motors, Total Tools & Equipment, and SYM Scooters in Malawi, sponsor monthly awards across the club’s squads — rewarding standout performers with cash prizes and miniature trophies.
Backing the Best
Speaking during the official signing ceremony at the club’s headquarters in Blantyre, HTD General Manager Ziyaad Sidik expressed admiration for Bullets’ pedigree and professionalism:
“It is safe to say that FCB Nyasa Big Bullets is the greatest football club in Malawi. Beyond its popularity and solid football business model, the team’s success stems from the quality of its players.
A highly motivated player can elevate the team’s performance — and that’s why HTD is proud to support the club with a K1.2 million monthly commitment towards these awards.”
Club President’s Remarks
Speaking on behalf of the club, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets president Konrad Buckle highlighted the importance of belief, motivation, and performance in driving football development:
“We all know the economic climate is tough. Bullets was the first club in Malawi to attempt commercialising football, and it’s been a long journey getting people to invest their hard-earned money in the game.
“Performance remains key, but so does passion. This club is iconic because of the belief it inspires — in the players, the supporters, and now in partners like HTD who have come in not just to sponsor, but to honour the effort on the pitch.”

First Winners Unveiled
The first HTD Player of the Month winners — starting from April 2025 — were unveiled during the sponsorship unveiling event attended by officials from HTD, Bullets, and the media.
For the First Team, Babatunde Adepoju was recognised for his outstanding performance in April, followed by Chiukumbutso Salima in May and Blessings Mpokera in June.
In the Reserves category, Vincent Kampira earned the Player of the Month award for May, while Mtende Mayuni claimed the honour in June.
Each recipient received a cash prize and a custom miniature trophy, presented as a token of appreciation for their impact on the pitch. Awards for the Women’s Team will commence once their 2025 campaign gets underway.
