FCB Nyasa Big Bullets return to TNM Super League action this Saturday, 13 September, hosting Dedza Dynamos at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre as the 2025 campaign resumes following the international break.
The People’s Team currently tops the standings with 40 points, holding a slender one-point lead over second-placed Mighty Wanderers, and will be aiming to continue the momentum from our last outing — a 3-1 away victory over Songwe Border United in Karonga on 27 August.
This will be our third league fixture of the second round, and Peter Mponda’s men are eager to maintain our position at the summit.
Bullets go into the clash having scored 38 goals in 17 matches, the highest tally in the league, while boasting the best goal difference of +29.
Despite three losses and three draws, we’ve consistently shown strength across both ends of the pitch and remain firmly in the race to reclaim the title we surrendered to Silver Strikers last season, having won it five consecutive times before that.
Saturday’s visitors, Dedza Dynamos, currently sit ninth on the table with 21 points. They’ll arrive in Blantyre aiming to frustrate the log leaders, but The People’s Team will be banking on our recent form and the support of the Maule faithful, who have been instrumental all season.
HTD August Player of the Month Babatunde Adepoju will be one to watch. Baba leads the league’s scoring chart with 11 goals, having found the back of the net in nine different fixtures this season. He also has five assists to his name.
His striking partner Chikumbutso Salima, who scooped the July Player of the Month, has contributed eight goals and a league-high nine assists. Together, the duo has been involved in 50% of Bullets’ league goals so far this season, a testament to their sharpness in the final third.
As we return from the international break, all eyes will be on how Bullets push forward in the second half of the season. The mission remains clear — bring the title back home — and Saturday’s fixture is another step on that journey.
