Match Officials Confirmed for Bullets vs Silver Strikers

Referee Mwayi Msungama will take charge of Sunday’s TNM Super League showdown between FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Silver Strikers at Kamuzu Stadium.

Msungama, who handled our 1-0 home defeat to Blue Eagles in July, will be officiating his second Bullets game of the season when the log leaders host the defending champions in Blantyre.

The Big Clash

This fixture is one of the most anticipated of the season as Maule, sitting top with 43 points from 18 matches, welcome third-placed Silver Strikers, who are on 36 points from 17 games.

With both sides chasing maximum points in the title race, all eyes will be on Kamuzu Stadium for this blockbuster tie.

The Match Officials

Msungama will be assisted by Happiness Mbandambanda and McHastings Kanjati on the lines.

Mbandambanda will be handling Bullets for the third time this season, having featured in the 1-0 Blantyre derby defeat to Mighty Wanderers in May and our dramatic 3-3 home draw against Karonga United in August.

Kanjati, meanwhile, makes his first Bullets appearance of the 2025 campaign. He last officiated us in December 2024 when we secured a 3-1 victory over Karonga United at Kamuzu Stadium.

Zebron Lengani has been assigned as fourth official, returning for his third Bullets duty of the season. He previously took charge of our 3-0 win against Moyale Barracks in June and the 3-3 stalemate with Karonga United in Blantyre.

The match assessor will be Hastings Nthuntha, a retired referee who will be evaluating his second Bullets game this season after overseeing our 2-0 late win over Mighty Tigers in June.

Kick-Off Details

The clash kicks off at 14:30 CAT on Sunday, 5 October, at Kamuzu Stadium.

With the title race heating up, the Maule Family is called to paint Kamuzu red. Your passion, your energy, your support — they could make all the difference against the defending champions.
