Bernadetta  Mkandawire has been named November HTD Women’s Player of the Month, in recognition of her exceptional performances and leadership in the FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women backline.

Throughout November, Mkandawire featured in all three league matches, helping the team collect five points. Her defensive mastery, composure, and ability to organize the backline were key in maintaining stability and confidence, earning her recognition from teammates and the technical team as the Maule Ladies’ best performer last month.

The Malawi right-back stood out in a 1-1 draw against Civil Service Women, producing a disciplined defensive display and limiting clear chances. She followed with another commanding performance in a goalless draw against Kukoma Ntopwa Women, where timely interceptions, clearances, and vocal leadership kept Bullets competitive.

The highlight came in a 2-0 victory over MK Academy, with Mkandawire’s resilience and reading of the game helping secure a clean sheet and maximum points. Her consistency, work rate, and calm presence inspired her teammates and provided a strong foundation for the team’s success.

Her performances in November make her a deserving recipient of the HTD Women’s Player of the Month award, a testament to her skill, leadership, and impact on the pitch.
