The Road to the Final

Gilbert Chirwa’s men booked their place in the final with a commanding 2–0 victory over Mzuzu City Hammers at Kamuzu Stadium.

A clinical brace from Wongani Lungu secured the win and sent Maule into another major final.

This is Bullets’ second appearance in the Castel Challenge Cup final. In 2023, The People’s Team lifted the trophy after defeating Silver Strikers on penalties — a moment that remains fresh in the memories of Maule, who are now eyeing the club’s 38th major trophy.

A Season Defined by Character

The 2025 campaign has demanded resilience. Bullets lifted the Airtel Top 8, reached the semifinals of the FDH Bank Cup, and finished runners-up in the TNM Super League.

Saturday presents an opportunity to add another major honour and reward the unwavering support that has followed The People’s Team throughout the season.

A Historic Encounter

Goshen City Dedza Dynamos booked their place in the final after edging past Blue Eagles FC 4–3 on penalties in the semifinals.

Saturday will mark the first-ever cup final meeting between Dedza Dynamos and Bullets — adding extra edge to an already compelling contest.
