FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will kick off the 2026/27 FDH Premiership campaign with an away fixture against Civil Service United at Civo Stadium on April 25.
The People’s Team head into the new campaign with clear intent after finishing second last season, narrowly missing out on the title to rivals Mighty Wanderers, who topped the table with 69 points—three ahead of Bullets’ 66.
Fixtures released by the Super League of Malawi (SULOM) on Saturday show that Bullets will play their first home match a week later against Mafco FC at Kamuzu Stadium.
An early highlight follows on May 9, when The People’s Team face Wanderers in the first Blantyre Derby of the campaign. The opening run presents an immediate test as Bullets look to build momentum from the outset.
The People’s Team will then host Red Lions before travelling to Lilongwe for a clash against Blue Eagles, returning to Kamuzu Stadium to face Moyale Barracks.
Bullets will return to Lilongwe to face Kamuzu Barracks before hosting Masters FC in Blantyre.
The first Northern Region trip comes in Week 13, with a visit to face Karonga United at Karonga Stadium.
The first round concludes with a home fixture against Silver Strikers at Kamuzu Stadium.
In between league fixtures, The People’s Team will also turn attention to the Airtel Top 8 Cup, where they face Ekhaya FC in a two-legged quarterfinal tie for a place in the semifinals.
According to SULOM, the 2026/27 FDH Premiership season concludes on February 20, 2027.
The new season officially gets underway on April 18, when Bullets face Wanderers in the Charity Shield at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
All set for a new campaign, The People’s Team will be aiming to start strong and set the tone early.
