FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will return to FDH Bank Premiership action on Sunday with a home encounter against Moyale Barracks at Joyce Chitsulo Stadium in Mwanza.
Kickoff for the Matchweek 6 fixture is scheduled for 14:30 as Maule continue their early-season campaign away from Blantyre following the closure of Kamuzu Stadium for elite matches.
Gilbert Chirwa’s men will be looking to return to winning ways and collect all three points following consecutive draws against Red Lions and Blue Eagles.
The People’s Team head into the contest looking to build on the encouraging signs shown during the opening weeks of the 2026/27 season, having already produced strong performances against MAFCO FC, Mighty Wanderers and Blue Eagles across different venues.
Sunday’s assignment will mark Bullets’ latest home match in Mwanza after Joyce Chitsulo Stadium successfully hosted its first top-flight fixtures earlier this month.
Bullets previously collected maximum points at the venue in the victory over MAFCO before returning to Bingu National Stadium for the Blantyre derby triumph against Mighty Wanderers.
The fixture also presents another opportunity for several of Bullets’ new signings to continue settling into life at the club following their promising introductions to the campaign.
Midfielder Clever Kalambo, who scored on his league debut against Civil Service United earlier this month, is set to face his former side for the first time since joining Maule ahead of the current season.
George Chaomba has also made a bright start in Bullets colours after opening his account for the club, while defender Emmanuel Kaunga and goalkeeper Pilirani Mapira have added experience and stability to the squad during the opening stretch of the season.
Moyale Barracks, meanwhile, arrive in Mwanza aiming to frustrate the hosts and secure valuable points on the road as the northern region side continues searching for consistency in the early stages of the campaign.
Historically, meetings between the two teams have often produced competitive battles, with Moyale known for their disciplined structure and physical approach whenever they come up against the defending champions.
Supporters are expected to once again create a vibrant atmosphere in Mwanza as Bullets continue adapting to different home venues during the ongoing stadium situation.
Further information regarding ticketing and matchday arrangements will be communicated through the club’s official platforms ahead of kickoff.
