FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Set Sights On Ekhaya Clash In Lilongwe

Bullets return to action against Ekhaya FC on Saturday

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets return to action on Saturday when they host Ekhaya FC in the first leg of the Airtel Top 8 quarterfinals at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00.

The fixture will mark The People’s Team’s first competitive outing since the international break and the beginning of another quest for Airtel Top 8 glory.

Maule head into the tie as the defending champions and the competition’s most successful side, having lifted the trophy four times in 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Saturday’s encounter will also be the first-ever knockout meeting between Bullets and Ekhaya FC, adding another chapter to the growing rivalry between the two Blantyre-based clubs.

While the fixture brings together two Blantyre-based clubs, the first leg will be played in Lilongwe as Bullets continue to utilise alternative venues during the temporary closure of Kamuzu Stadium.

The quarterfinal will be contested over two legs, with the return fixture scheduled for the weekend of 11–12 July at Mpira Stadium in Blantyre.

With a place in the semifinals at stake, Bullets will be aiming to make a strong start to their title defence before the tie concludes next month.

Maule, turn out in your numbers and back The People’s Team in Lilongwe as the defence of the Airtel Top 8 crown begins.
