The officiating team for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets’ FDH Bank Premiership fixture against Chitipa United at Mpira Stadium has been confirmed.
Sunday’s encounter will be handled by referee Zebron Lengani as The People’s Team look to return to winning ways in the league.
Lengani receives his first Bullets appointment of the current campaign after handling seven matches involving The People’s Team across all competitions last season, while Clemence Kanduku and Michael Mwambyale also bring previous experience of handling Bullets fixtures this season.
Zebron Lengani, Referee
Lengani returns to the centre for his first Bullets appointment of the 2026/27 campaign.
He handled seven matches involving The People’s Team across all competitions last season, serving three times as referee and four times as fourth official.
His most recent Bullets assignment came in February, when he was fourth official during our 2–1 victory over Goshen City Dedza Dynamos in the Castel Challenge Cup final at Bingu National Stadium.
Before Sunday’s encounter, Lengani has received four FDH Bank Premiership appointments this season, serving three times as referee and once as fourth official.
One of those assignments saw him oversee Chitipa’s 1–0 defeat to Red Lions at Zomba Stadium in Matchweek 7.
Clemence Kanduku, Assistant Referee 1
Kanduku returns for his second Bullets appointment of the campaign after serving as first assistant referee during our 2–0 victory over Creck Sporting Club at Mpira Stadium in July.
He has made four league appearances before Sunday’s assignment, all as first assistant referee.
This weekend’s fixture will therefore be his fifth league appointment and his fourth at Mpira Stadium this season.
Siyame Chitambo, Assistant Referee 2
Chitambo has received two previous league assignments this season, both as first assistant referee.
Those appointments included the Red Lions-Chitipa fixture handled by Lengani in Matchweek 7.
Sunday will reunite the pair, with Chitambo serving as second assistant referee for the first time this campaign as he receives his first Bullets appointment of the season.
Michael Mwambyale, Fourth Official
Mwambyale returns for his second Bullets appointment of the season after serving as fourth official during our goalless draw against Red Lions at Joyce Chitsulo Stadium in May.
He has received two previous league appointments this campaign, serving once as referee and once as fourth official.
Sunday’s encounter will be his third league assignment of the season and his second as fourth official.
Damson Banda, Match Assessor
Banda receives his first Bullets appointment of the campaign after assessing two previous FDH Bank Premiership matches this season.
Sunday’s assignment will be his third league appointment as match assessor and his second at Mpira Stadium.
