FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves and Under-19 will be out of action this weekend following the postponement of their respective Sunday fixtures at Mpira Stadium.
Bullets Under-19 were due to face Ndirande Dortmund at 09:00, followed by the Reserves’ second-round opener against Ntopwa FC at 11:00. The First Team’s FDH Bank Premiership encounter against Blue Eagles remains scheduled for 14:30 at the same venue.
The Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) has pushed back the start of the SRFA FINCA Division One League second round to the weekend of 17 October.
In a communication to participating clubs, the SRFA confirmed that the decision followed concerns raised by teams over transport challenges linked to the prevailing fuel situation.
Bullets Reserves finished the first round top of the standings with 34 points, closing the opening half of the campaign with nine consecutive victories.
Meanwhile, the Under-19 postponement follows a decision by the Blantyre District Youth Football Committee (BDYFC) to suspend all Under-14 and Under-19 fixtures until further notice, citing similar transport challenges affecting participating teams.
The club will communicate further updates on both postponed fixtures once the revised dates are confirmed.
