We return to Joyce Chitsulo Stadium on Sunday afternoon for our FDH Bank Premiership Matchweek 4 fixture against Red Lions.
The encounter will mark our second home match of the season at the Mwanza venue as The People’s Team continue settling into Joyce Chitsulo Stadium while Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre remains unavailable for elite matches.
Gilbert Chirwa’s men previously collected all three points against MAFCO FC in Mwanza earlier this month in the first elite fixture hosted at the stadium before going on to secure an important derby victory over Mighty Wanderers at Bingu National Stadium on Sunday.
That result lifted Maule to second place in the FDH Bank Premiership standings with seven points from three matches following victories over MAFCO FC and Wanderers, alongside a draw against Civil Service United.
Red Lions, meanwhile, will arrive in Mwanza buoyed by a convincing 3-0 home victory over Goshen City Dedza Dynamos in Zomba after drawing their opening two matches of the campaign.
Sunday’s 14:30 fixture will also provide us with another opportunity to continue building momentum in Mwanza as we adjust to life away from Kamuzu Stadium.
Ticketing information and further matchday updates will be communicated through our official platforms ahead of Sunday’s encounter.
