FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will face The Boyz in the Round of 16 of the 2025 FDH Bank Cup at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday, 20 September.
Although the tie will be played at our traditional home ground, The Boyz have been designated as the home team, with Bullets set to line up as the away side for the 14h30 kick-off in Blantyre.
This knockout clash follows Bullets’ emphatic 5-0 victory over Chilumba Barracks in the Round of 32, a fixture that saw Babatunde Adepoju score four goals and provide an assist, while Chawanangwa Gumbo netted the other—also assisted by the in-form forward.
As we turn attention to the next round, Peter Mponda’s men will be looking to continue their cup charge against the Chilomoni-based lower-tier side, who edged Becks Academy 2-1 to book their place in the last 16.
Bullets are determined to reclaim the FDH Bank Cup trophy last lifted during the club’s historic 2023 quadruple-winning season.
With momentum building and silverware in sight, the upcoming fixture against The Boyz presents another opportunity for Mponda’s charges to continue asserting their dominance in domestic competitions.
