The mid-season break has reshaped the FCB Nyasa Big Bullets squad numbers, with changes across the playing group ahead of the second round.
With the transfer window now closed, the updated list reflects the latest squad changes as the team prepares for the second half of the 2026/27 campaign.
Wongani Lungu has moved from No. 19 to No. 10, taking the shirt previously worn by Mike Mkwate, who has joined Masters FC.
Peter Banda has switched from No. 7 to No. 13, the number previously worn by Kondowe — and one that carries particular significance for the 26-year-old midfielder, having also been worn by his late father, Chikondi Banda, during his time as a Bullets player.
Kondowe has now moved from No. 13 to No. 9, taking the shirt previously worn by Hassan Kajoke, who has also joined Masters FC.
The forward leads the FDH Bank Premiership scoring chart with nine goals in 15 matches following a standout opening round.
The three new arrivals have also been assigned their numbers.
Liberian midfielder Sheku Sheriff will wear No. 5, which has been vacant since the departure of former Kenyan defender Clyde Senaji in 2025.
Zimbabwean striker Tiyane Tsimba takes No. 19, while Alihaji Mnjale has been handed No. 27, previously worn by Henry Chiwaya before his loan move to Masters FC.
Wedson Nyirenda’s side will use the remainder of the mid-season break to prepare for the second round with two friendlies against NBS Bank National Division League opposition.
The People’s Team face Changalume Barracks at Zomba Stadium this Sunday before travelling to Mchinji to take on Extreme FC on 4 October.
The second round of the 2026/27 FDH Bank Premiership begins on 10 October, with Bullets resuming the campaign against Blue Eagles on 11 October.
