TNM Super League revised fixtures 2024: Bullets’ next six games

The Super League of Malawi has issued a revised schedule for the remainder of the 2024 TNM Super League campaign.

Tuesday night, the league runners announced that games will resume on Sunday following the temporary suspension due to the death of Malawi’s Vice-President and eight other officials in a plane crash last week.

SULOM has published a full schedule of the 168 matches left this term as FCB Nyasa Big Bullets seek a sixth successive league title after winning a quadruple last season.

Bullets remain with six league fixtures to conclude the first round of this TNM Super League campaign, which ends on 27 July before the resumption of the final period of the campaign the week to follow.

As scheduled before the postponement, the defending champions will still be on the road to Lilongwe to face Creck Sporting Club at Civo Stadium on Sunday.

That fixture against the TNM Super League new side, coached by Macdonald Mtetemera, will be followed by another trip to the Capital, away to Kamuzu Barracks at the same venue seven days later.

Bullets will then switch focus to either the FDH Bank Cup or Castel Challenge Cup after visiting KB on 30 June, before returning to league action against Civil Service United in Blantyre on 13 July.

The People’s Team will next host rookies FOMO FC at Kamuzu Stadium on 18 July, then travel up North for our fixture against Karonga United four days later.

Kalisto Pasuwa’s men will end the first round of this TNM Super League campaign with an away tie against Bangwe All Stars at Mpira Stadium on 27 July in Matchweek 15.

The revised schedule shows that the league will not have a midseason break this term as games will resume the following week, with Bullets travelling to Civo Service United on 4 August and then hosting Moyale Barracks at Kamuzu Stadium six days later.
