Bullets’ next league match confirmed

The People’s Team is scheduled to head to Dedza for our fourth fixture in the 2025 TNM Super League season.

The Super League of Malawi released a revised Matchweek 6 lineup this evening, confirming that FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will face Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos away from home next Wednesday.

Peter Mponda’s team remains on a break from competitive action, with several league fixtures on hold as the Malawi national side competes in the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship 2024 qualifiers against South Africa.

The Flames boosted their CHAN finals hopes with a crucial 1-0 home win over Bafana Bafana at Bingu National Stadium on Saturday and will travel to Pretoria this week for the second leg clash set for Sunday.

Seven Bullets players were named in the current Malawi national team setup, most of whom are regular starters for Mponda.

Originally, Bullets were slated to visit Champions Stadium to play MAFCO on April 30, before our expected encounter with Dedza this Saturday, May 10. However, both matches were postponed due to the national team’s commitments.

Maule will travel to Dedza Stadium on the very day we were meant to host Chitipa United at Kamuzu Stadium.

Currently, the 17-time Malawian champions top the TNM Super League table, boasting nine points from three matches, with twelve goals scored and just one conceded.

To ensure those not on international duty remain match-fit, Bullets will square off against Changalume Barracks from the Eastern Region Football League in a friendly at Balaka Stadium this Saturday. This follows a 3-0 victory over Mchinji Villa in another friendly last weekend.
