The People’s Team travel to Mchinji on Sunday for our final outing before the second round of the 2026/27 season.
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will face Extreme FC at Aubrey Dimba Stadium as preparations continue for the return of competitive action.
The fixture follows Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Changalume Barracks at Zomba Stadium, with Frank Willard opening the scoring from a first-half free-kick before Wongani Lungu doubled the advantage early in the second half.
Changalume, who currently sit at the foot of the NBS Bank National Division League table, provided valuable minutes for several players who had limited involvement during the opening round of the FDH Bank Premiership.
Goalkeeper McLean Mwale started between the posts, while defenders Ahmad Kung’unde and Aaron Chilipa and Sean McBrams also featured from the start.
Wedson Nyirenda made five changes at half-time, introducing Maxwell Phodo, George Chaomba, Yamikani Mologeni, Lungu and Emmanuel Kaunga.
The changes allowed the coaching staff to manage minutes while assessing different combinations on the afternoon.
For new signings Alihaji Mnjale, Sheku Sheriff and Tinaye Tsimba, the outing marked their first appearances for the club following their arrival during the midseason transfer window.
The Mchinji fixture will present a different test against Extreme FC, who currently sit second in the NBS Bank National Division League table.
It will be the final outing before Bullets begin the second round at home against Blue Eagles on 11 October. The sides played out a 1-1 draw in Lilongwe during the first round.
