FCB Nyasa Big Bullets’ TNM Super League fixture against Civil Service United, initially scheduled for Monday, 7 July 2025, has been postponed.
The Super League of Malawi (Sulom) confirmed the change on Thursday, citing national team commitments during the country’s 61st Independence Day Celebrations.
The decision follows the call-up of eight players from the Bullets setup to the Malawi national team, who are set to face Botswana in an international friendly match on Sunday, 6 July, as part of the Independence Day festivities.
The Bullets players included in the Flames squad are Richard Chimbamba, Blessings Mpokera, Lloyd Aaron, Chawanangwa Gumbo, Frank Willard, Wongani Lungu, Chikumbutso Salima — all from the first team — as well as Oscar Petro from Bullets Reserves.

As a result, the Civil fixture will be rescheduled, with a new date to be announced by Sulom in due course.
Following Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Ekhaya FC at Kamuzu Stadium, The People’s Team still sit top of the TNM Super League standings with 27 points from 10 matches, one ahead of second-placed Mighty Wanderers, who have also played 10 games.
With the Civil encounter now off the calendar, Bullets will turn full attention to preparing for the Airtel Top 8 final against Silver Strikers, scheduled to be played after the international break.
