FCB Nyasa Big Bullets host Civil Service United at Mpira Stadium on Saturday as we look to make it three wins from three in the FDH Bank Premiership second round.
The Matchweek 18 encounter kicks off at 15:00, bringing Bullets back home following Sunday’s 3-0 victory over MAFCO at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.
Clever Kalambo opened the scoring in the 13th minute before Tinaye Tsimba came off the bench to strike twice late on, taking Wedson Nyirenda’s side to 36 points from 17 matches.
The brace marked the Zimbabwean forward’s first competitive goals for Bullets since his summer arrival.
Having beaten Blue Eagles 2-0 at Mpira the previous weekend, we have scored five goals without reply since the second round began.
Sunday’s victory also extended our unbeaten league run to six matches, all without conceding. It was our tenth clean sheet of the campaign, with just seven goals conceded.
Civil head to Mpira seeking their first win since the league resumed, following a 1-0 defeat to Karonga United and Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Dedza Dynamos.
Those results came after three successive victories over Blue Eagles, MAFCO and Kamuzu Barracks before the midseason break.
The visitors sit 11th with 21 points from 17 matches, having recorded six wins, three draws and eight defeats.
Back at Mpira, Bullets will be chasing a third straight win in the second round to keep setting the pace at the top.
Further build-up to Saturday’s encounter, including team news, opposition analysis, match officials and the full match preview, will be available throughout the week on the club’s official platforms.
