Luanar next as Bullets return to Dedza

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets return to Dedza Stadium on Sunday to face Luanar Mitundu in the FDH Bank Premiership, with kick-off scheduled for 14:30.

The Matchweek 14 encounter will be our final away fixture of the first round as Wedson Nyirenda’s side prepare for another assignment on the road.

Bullets head back to the Central Region following Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Karonga United in the North.

Ephraim Kondowe converted Yamikani Mologeni’s delivery in the 38th minute to secure maximum points on our first Northern Region trip of the season.

The result followed the 2-0 home victory over Chitipa United and gave The People’s Team back-to-back league wins and clean sheets.

Those victories have moved Bullets into third position with 26 points from 13 matches, level with second-placed Mighty Wanderers and two behind leaders Silver Strikers.

Nyirenda’s men have conceded only seven goals in the league this season and travel to Dedza having kept clean sheets in each of their last two outings.

Luanar enter Matchweek 14 eighth in the standings with 18 points from 13 matches.

The newly promoted side have recorded five victories, three draws and five defeats, scoring and conceding 12 goals during their first-round campaign.

Sunday’s fixture will be Bullets’ second visit to Dedza Stadium this season.

Our previous trip to the venue ended in a 1-0 defeat to Goshen City Dedza Dynamos, the only league loss Nyirenda’s side have suffered in 13 matches.

Bullets have since responded with consecutive victories, scoring three unanswered goals and collecting six points ahead of another important first-round assignment.

Further buildup to Sunday’s encounter, including team news, opposition analysis, match officials and the full match preview, will be available throughout the week on the club’s official platforms.
