Silver next as FDH Premiership resumes

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets return to FDH Bank Premiership action on Saturday when we welcome Silver Strikers to Mpira Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 14:30.

The Matchweek 15 encounter will complete the first round for both clubs as two of the division’s top four meet.

Bullets resume the league campaign following a weekend pause to accommodate the Airtel Top 8 final.

Wedson Nyirenda’s side return to Mpira Stadium after collecting a point from a goalless draw away to Luanar Mitundu in our final first-round assignment on the road.

The point extended our unbeaten league run to three matches following victories over Chitipa United and Karonga United, while completing a third successive clean sheet.

Bullets occupy fourth position with 27 points from 14 matches, one behind third-placed Blue Eagles and two adrift of leaders Silver, who sit above Mighty Wanderers on goal difference.

Nyirenda’s men have conceded only seven league goals this season, sharing the division’s best defensive record with Saturday’s opponents.

Silver also arrive at Mpira Stadium following a goalless draw, having shared the points with Goshen City Dedza Dynamos in their most recent league outing.

The Bankers have collected 29 points from 14 matches through nine victories, two draws and three defeats.

With only two points separating the sides, victory on Saturday would move Bullets above the leaders and onto 30 points at the end of our first-round programme.

Further build-up to Saturday’s encounter, including team news, opposition analysis, match officials and the full match preview, will be available throughout the week on the club’s official platforms.
