Team News: Bullets vs AmaZulu

Nyasa Big Bullets coach Kalisto Pasuwa has made two changes to the starting XI that defeated AmaZulu 0-1 away at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in South Africa a week ago.

The two sides face-off this afternoon in the second leg of the CAF Champions League first preliminary round at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.

Pasuwa, who has an away goal advantage and will be looking to avoid defeat at home to progress to the second preliminary round, has made adjustments at the back and in the line of attack.

With left-back Yamikani Fodya out due to a red card he picked in Durban, the Zimbabwean, who has maintained the same 4-3-3 system with a back-four, has opted for Nickson Nyasulu as an addition to last Friday’s defence line.

Nyasulu will man the right side of defense while Gomegzani Chirwa will switch to the left, with Miracle Gabeya and Sankhani Mkandawire maintaining their centre-back positions in front of goalkeeper Richard Chimbamba, who has been trusted again to man the posts in his second CAF Champions League match after his outstanding performance in domestic competitions.

Chimango Kayira and Henry Kabichi will play behind captain Chimwemwe Idana in midfield while Hassan Kajoke, who has replaced Chiukepo Msowoya, will partner McFallen Mgwira and Babatunde Adepoju in attack.

Starting XI: Chimbamba; Nyasulu, Gabeya, Mkandawire, Chirwa; Kayira, Kabichi, Idana ©; Mgwira, Kajoke, Babatunde.

Subs: Chiyenda, Mpokera, Lungu, Phiri, Manyozo, Munthali, Seleman, Mkanda, Msowoya.

Kick off time is 15:00 and you can watch the match live on Mibawa TV [Facebook Page] and MBC TV.
