FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have named the starting XI for Sunday afternoon’s FDH Bank Premiership encounter against MAFCO at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.
The People’s Team head into Matchweek 17 on 33 points, with victory enough to reclaim top spot from Mighty Wanderers and restore a one-point lead.
Wedson Nyirenda makes one change to the side that defeated Blue Eagles 2–0 last weekend, with Yankho Singo replacing Frank Willard, who moves to the bench.
Singo starts after replacing Willard during the first half of last weekend’s victory at Mpira Stadium.
Innocent Nyasulu continues in goal, with Yamikani Mologeni, captain Blessings Mpokera, Emmanuel Kaunga and Prince Chiumia retaining their places in defence.
Singo joins Chawanangwa Gumbo and Wongani Lungu in midfield, with Clever Kalambo and Misheck Billiat supporting Ephraim Kondowe up front.
There is also a change among the substitutes, with Maxwell Phodo coming into the matchday squad in place of Peter Banda.
Willard, Paul Master and Sheku Sheriff provide midfield options, while Phodo, George Chaomba and Tinaye Tsimba offer attacking alternatives.
