Wedson Nyirenda has named the FCB Nyasa Big Bullets starting XI for this afternoon’s FDH Bank Premiership match against Karonga United at Karonga Stadium.
The People’s Team are targeting successive league victories following last weekend’s 2-0 win over Chitipa United at Mpira Stadium.
Bullets enter Matchweek 13 fourth in the standings with 23 points, five behind leaders Silver Strikers, who moved to 28 points after defeating Ekhaya FC 3-0 on Saturday.
Nyirenda rings two changes to the side that started against Chitipa, with Maxwell Phodo coming in for Peter Banda and Misheck Billiat replacing the suspended Clever Kalambo.
Billiat was influential after his introduction last Sunday, providing the assist for Kalambo to double our advantage in the 82nd minute.
Phodo is restored to the starting XI, while Peter Banda drops to the bench. Kalambo misses the encounter after accumulating three yellow cards.
Yankho Singo is handed his second successive start under Nyirenda after returning to the XI against Chitipa last weekend.
Innocent Nyasulu starts in goal behind an unchanged back four of Yamikani Mologeni, captain Blessings Mpokera, Emmanuel Kaunga and Prince Chiumia.
Singo retains his place alongside Chawanangwa Gumbo and Wongani Lungu in midfield, with Phodo and Billiat operating in support of Ephraim Kondowe.

Among Nyirenda’s options from the bench is Kondwani Tebulo, who made his competitive first-team debut against Chitipa and struck the upright deep into stoppage time.
Goalkeeper McLean Mwale is joined among the substitutes by Aaron Chilipa, Tebulo, Andrew Jovinala, Frank Willard, Madalitso Safuli, Peter Banda, Sean McBrams and Dastan Banda.
