Mapemba undergoes successful surgery

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets wingback Chrispin Mapemba has successfully undergone knee surgery in Tanzania as he continues his recovery from a long-term injury setback.

The wingback, who has been sidelined for several months since last year, travelled to Dar es Salaam on Monday for the procedure, with the club supporting the necessary medical arrangements.

Mapemba was operated on Tuesday at Careplus Msasani Super Specialized Hospital, where he underwent an arthroscopic surgery with partial meniscectomy on his knee.

The procedure was successful, marking a positive step forward in his rehabilitation journey.

He is expected to return home this weekend and will continue his recovery under the supervision of the club’s medical team.

The People’s Team wishes Mapemba a smooth recovery and looks forward to seeing him back on the pitch.
