Mercy Kayira will referee FCB Nyasa Big Bullets’ Matchweek 13 encounter against Karonga United at Karonga Stadium on Sunday.
She will be assisted by Piason Kamanga and Moses Golomba, with Mark Banda serving as fourth official and Pauper Mkandawire appointed match assessor.
Kayira receives her first Bullets assignment of the campaign, Kamanga and Mkandawire return with previous experience of handling The People’s Team, while Golomba and Banda prepare for their first appointments involving the club.

Mercy Kayira, Referee
After handling four matches involving The People’s Team across all competitions last campaign—once as referee and three times as fourth official—Kayira returns for her first Bullets fixture this term.
She has received four league appointments before Sunday’s encounter, serving three times as referee and once as fourth official.
Three of those assignments involved Karonga United. Kayira was fourth official for their meeting with Masters FC before taking charge of home fixtures against Red Lions and Creck Sporting Club.
Sunday will be her fifth league appointment of the season and fourth in the centre.
Piason Kamanga, Assistant Referee 1
Kamanga receives his fifth appointment involving Bullets since 2023.
His most recent came in the first leg of the 2025 Airtel Top 8 quarterfinal against Creck Sporting Club at Kamuzu Stadium, where he served as assistant referee and Kayira was in the centre.
The pair will work together in a Bullets fixture for the first time since that cup meeting.
Kamanga has made three league appearances this season, all as first assistant referee, with Sunday’s assignment set to be his fourth of the campaign.
Moses Golomba, Assistant Referee 2
The Karonga encounter will mark Golomba’s first appointment involving The People’s Team.
He has made two league appearances this season, serving once as first assistant referee and once as second assistant referee.
This will be his third assignment of the campaign and second as assistant referee two.
Mark Banda, Fourth Official
Sunday will also mark Banda’s first appointment involving The People’s Team.
His only previous league appearance this season came as fourth official during Karonga United’s meeting with MAFCO at Karonga Stadium in Matchweek 4.
Banda returns to the same venue and role for his second league assignment of the campaign.
Pauper Mkandawire, Match Assessor
Mkandawire receives his fourth appointment involving Bullets.
He first handled two fixtures involving The People’s Team in 2024 before returning last August for our visit to Songwe Border United at Karonga Stadium.
Mkandawire has assessed four league matches this season, including Karonga United’s meeting with Goshen City Dedza Dynamos in Matchweek 9.
Sunday will be his fifth assignment of the campaign and second involving Karonga this term.
