Precious Juma signs four-year deal with Bullets

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets is delighted to confirm the acquisition of defender Precious Juma from Mwanza United on a four-year contract.

Juma, 19, was on a year-long loan spell at Zingwangwa United and becomes the eighth new addition to Heston Munthali’s Bullets reserves squad, ahead of the 2025 Premier Division campaign.

Recognized for his commanding presence at center-back, composure under pressure, and strength in the air, Juma is set to bolster the team’s backline as we kick off the 2025/26 ThumbsUp Southern Region Football League on Sunday.

Upon completing his move, Juma expressed his enthusiasm:

“Signing for Bullets is truly a dream come true and an incredible honor. I’m ready to embrace this new challenge and will give my all for the badge. I’m grateful to Mwanza and Zingwangwa United for everything, but my focus now is on helping Bullets succeed in this new chapter of my career.”

Munthali said, “We’re still going through a period of adjustment after losing several players to other teams, so bringing Juma into our defense is a valuable boost not only for the reserves but as we also plan for the future of the first team.”

After stepping in as our reserves head coach in February, succeeding Enos Chatama, the former Bullets forward also shared his thoughts on the influx of new players he has added to his squad.

“Making immediate changes isn’t easy, especially with some players having moved on to play for the first team or other clubs. I’ve had to address the gaps in our roster, and the club has responded exceptionally well during the recruitment process as we aim to build a stronger reserves side.”
