FCB Nyasa Big Bullets enjoyed another productive weekend as The People’s Team extended our unbeaten FDH Bank Premiership run with a hard-earned point away to Ekhaya, while the Reserves and Under-19 both recorded impressive victories to continue their encouraging league campaigns.
Our loan programme also remained active, with Oscar Petro and Prince Chalera both featuring for their respective clubs as they continued gaining valuable senior experience in competitive senior football.

First Team
The People’s Team extended our unbeaten FDH Bank Premiership run under Wedson Nyirenda with a goalless draw against Ekhaya at Mpira Stadium on Sunday.
Bullets created the better opportunities, with James Lumbe striking the crossbar before Ephraim Kondowe had a second-half effort ruled out for offside as the points were ultimately shared.
The result kept Nyirenda’s side firmly in contention near the top of the table ahead of Saturday’s trip to Dedza to face Goshen City Dedza Dynamos.

Reserves
Bullets Reserves recorded an emphatic 4-0 victory over QPL All Stars in the SRFA FINCA Division One League at Kamuzu Stadium.
Francis Malikebu starred with a superb hat-trick after opening the scoring on the stroke of half-time, while Vincent Kampira also found the net as Henry Kabichi’s side secured back-to-back league victories and clean sheets.
The result continued the young Bullets’ encouraging progress following their 6-1 victory over Mwanza United in June, which remains their biggest win of the season.

Under-19
Our Under-19 side maintained their perfect start to the Blantyre District Football Committee Under-19 FCB Katswiri League with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Nyambadwe United at Mpira Stadium.
Blessings Lungu’s first-half penalty proved decisive before the young Bullets showed excellent character to withstand sustained second-half pressure and record a third successive clean sheet.
Yamikani Fodya’s side have now won all three league matches this season, scoring six goals without reply to continue their impressive start to the campaign.

Loan Watch
Oscar Petro continued his development with another FDH Bank Premiership appearance, featuring for Civil Service United in their 2-0 home defeat to Mighty Wanderers on Saturday.
In the NBS Bank National Division League, Prince Chalera was also in action as Bangwe All Stars claimed a 2-0 victory over Changalume Barracks at Mpira Stadium.
Both players continue to gain valuable senior experience through regular competitive football as part of the club’s player development pathway.
The Week Ahead
Bullets return to FDH Bank Premiership action on Saturday with an away fixture against Goshen City Dedza Dynamos at Dedza Stadium, where The People’s Team will look to extend our unbeaten run under Nyirenda and return to winning ways.
The Under-19s face Mighty Wanderers Youth in the Blantyre mini derby at Mpira Stadium on Saturday. Kick-off is at 09:30, with Fodya’s side aiming to preserve their perfect start to the FCB Katswiri League season.
Bullets Reserves will also look to build on their back-to-back victories when they continue their SRFA FINCA Division One League campaign, while the club’s players out on loan will seek further valuable competitive experience across domestic competitions.
