2026 Matchday Ticket Guide Away

Secure your seat for the Blantyre derby

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets turn attention to Malawi’s biggest fixture this Sunday as we face Mighty Wanderers in the Blantyre derby at Bingu National Stadium.

Kick-off is set for 16:30, with the match marking our third outing of the 2026/27 FDH Bank Premiership campaign as The People’s Team look to build early momentum and make a statement in the contest.

We head into the encounter off the back of a 2-2 draw away to Civil Service United and a 1-0 victory over MAFCO FC, and will be looking to secure maximum points on Sunday.

Defined by pride, intensity and atmosphere, this fixture remains one of the standout occasions on the domestic calendar, with another strong crowd expected in Lilongwe.

It is the second meeting between the two sides this season, following their clash in the NBS Bank Charity Shield at the same venue three weeks ago, where Wanderers edged their rivals 1-0 to claim the trophy for the first time after Bullets had won it seven times since its inception in 2016.

The result also extended Wanderers’ recent dominance in this fixture, with the Nomads now recording four consecutive wins over The People’s Team. The run stretches back to last season, when they completed a league double in 2025 and also prevailed in the FDH Bank Cup semi-final, before adding the Charity Shield victory at the start of the current campaign.

Sunday’s encounter therefore presents an opportunity for The People’s Team to respond, as we look to halt that run and reassert ourselves in front of a packed Bingu National Stadium.

Demand for the fixture is expected to be high, with anticipation building ahead of the clash and supporters encouraged to secure their tickets in advance.
