Fourteen of our players have been selected for the Malawi Under-20 provisional squad for the 2025 AFCON Cosafa qualifiers in Mozambique later this month.
Chrispin Mapemba is the sole representative from our first team, while the others have been chosen from our reserves as part of Bob Mpinganjira’s 30-member squad.
Malawi has been placed in Group C alongside South Africa, Comoros and Lesotho.
The selected Bullets players include Julius Banda, Edward Thengo, Kondwani Tebulo, Happy Mphepo, Andrew Lameck, Oscar Petro, Francis Malikebu, Blessings Kanowa, Chrispin Mapemba, Hadji Steven, Madalitso Safuli, Misheck Billiat and Zaneel Jussab.
