FCB Nyas Big Bullets will face Dedza Dynamos in the semi-finals of the FDH Bank Cup at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday.
Dedza reached the last-4 of the competition following a 3-2 win on penalties against Moyale Barracks on Sunday.
The People’s Team marched on into the semis with a 4-2 post-match penalty shootout victory over Extreme FC on Saturday when we came from behind to level in the 89th minute through Ephraim Kondowe after the hosts took a lead in the 20th minute.
It will be the first meeting between Bullets and Dedza in a knockout competition and a fourth encounter in all competitions.
Bullets have reached the semifinals of the FDH Bank Cup for a second successive year following its launch in the 2020/21 season, winning it for the first time in the 2022 campaign.
In other semi-final matches, Mafco FC will wait for the winner between Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and Santhe Admarc, who will battle it out for a place in the last-4 next week.
Mafco were 5-4 winners over Bangwe All Stars in the quarter-final match played at Mpira Stadium on Saturday, while Wanderers reached the quarter-finals stage after they hammered Zingwangwa United 4-1 at Kamuzu Stadium.
