FCB Nyasa Big Bullets or Ekwendeni Hammers will play Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in the semi-finals of the Castel Challenge Cup.
This follows the semi-final draw conducted at half-time during the quarter-final match between Wanderers and Moyale Barracks at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Nomads progressed to the last four of the competition following a 3-0 victory over the Lions of Kaning’ina.
Bullets will host Ekwendeni Hammers in the quarter-finals showdown that will be played at Kamuzu Stadium on Wednesday.
Kalisto Pasuwa’s charges advanced to the last eight of the competition after hammering Civil Service United 3-0 on Saturday.
If Bullets see off Ekwendeni midweek, they will set up a third Blantyre derby in the 2023 season after the rivals met in the NBS Bank Cup Charity Shield and twice in the TNM Super League.
In other possible semi-final matches, the winner between Blue Eagles and Silver Strikers will face Bangwe All-Stars, who beat Chitipa United 4-3 on post-match penalties on Saturday.
