Inside Bullets this week as Moyale fixture shifted to Monday

Share

The People’s Team will be on the road again as the first team will head up North and the reserves will visit the Eastern Region.

With our women’s team and the Under 19s on break, we give you a low down on our next fixtures.

First Team

Our upcoming TNM Super League first-round tie against Moyale Barracks in Mzuzu has been rescheduled.

Instead of facing the Lions of Kaning’ina on Sunday, the game will be played on Monday, and the venue remains Mzuzu Stadium.

The Super League of Malawi confirmed the change in a brief statement released a few hours ago.

“Moyale Barracks v FCB Nyasa Bullets match has been rescheduled from Sunday, 26th May to Monday 27th May 2024. This is due to the unavailability of Mzuzu Stadium on Sunday. Any inconvenience caused by the change is sincerely regretted,” reads the communication.

Pasuwa hopes to see his men collecting all the points in Mzuzu to keep pace with the current log leaders, Silver Strikers.

The defending champions are six points behind the Central Bankers, who have collected 19 points from seven games.

Reserves

Enos Chatama’s side will strive to make it three out of three wins after recording back-to-back victories over Ntaja Rangers and Ntopwa FC in the ThumbsUp Southern Region Football League.

Their next assignment is against Lipulumundu Stars at Malindi in Mangochi on Sunday.

Our reserves are four points behind leaders Ntaja Rangers who have 15 points after playing a game more than the young Bullets.

Women

After bowing out of the Goshen-FAM Women’s Championship in the quarterfinals, Maggie Chombo’s ladies are on off-season waiting for the new FAM Women’s Football Southern Region League season.

Under 19s

Our youth team continues preparing for the new campaign of the FCB Under-19 Cup, which was supposed to kick off this weekend but has been moved to 1 June.
