The People’s Team is gearing up for another busy week on the pitch, with three of our sides representing the badge across different competitions.
First Team on the Road
The senior side will be looking to bounce back from Sunday’s 1-0 home defeat to Blue Eagles — a result that marked our second loss at Kamuzu Stadium this TNM Super League season, and our third defeat overall in the 2025 campaign.
The People’s Team remains second on the table with 27 points from 12 matches, trailing leaders Mighty Wanderers by six points, who have played one game more.
We return to league duties with two crucial away fixtures in the Northern and Central regions.
The midweek trip takes us north to Rumphi Stadium for a Matchweek 14 clash against Mzuzu City Hammers on Thursday, 1 August. Kick-off is at 14:30 CAT.
Soon after, Bullets head to the Central Region for Matchweek 15 to face MAFCO FC at Champion Stadium on Sunday, 3 August, as the squad continues its mission to close the gap at the top.
Maule Ladies Back at Kamuzu
Our Maule Ladies will be out to bounce back when they host MK Academy at Kamuzu Stadium this Sunday in their second outing of the 2025 NBM Women’s Premiership.
They’ll be aiming to register their first points of the season after a narrow 1-0 loss to Kukoma Ntopwa Women in their opener last weekend.
Kick-off is set for 14:30 CAT as the team looks to respond in front of the home crowd.
Under-19s Await Fixture Confirmation
The FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Under-19s, who suffered a heartbreaking 4-3 defeat to CC Stars after leading 3-0 in their latest BDYFL outing, are expected to face Ntopwa Youth in their next match.
The date and venue for the fixture are yet to be confirmed by the Blantyre District Youth Football Committee, and updates will be shared across our official platforms.
Reserves Not in Action
There is no fixture for our Reserves this week following Sunday’s 1-0 loss to Chilobwe United in the ThumbsUp Southern Region Football League.
With 13 games played in the first round of the 16-team competition, the Reserves will use the break to regroup and sharpen up for the remaining first-round fixtures.
