FCB Nyasa Big Bullets can confirm that midfielder Stanley Billiat has left the club.
This follows an agreement to allow the 22-year-old, upon his request, to leave Bullets as his contract ends on 20 February 2025.
Billiat graduated to the first team from our reserves at the start of the 2020 season. In his four-year stay with the club, he made 74 appearances in all competitions, scoring 13 goals.
His last goal for The People’s Team was an excellent volley against Kamuzu Barracks on the final day of the 2024 TNM Super League campaign.
He leaves Bullets as one of the most decorated players, winning four league titles, two FDH Bank Cups, three Airtel Top 8 Cups, and one Castel Challenge Cup. He was also part of the history of winning the quadruple in the 2023 season.
In a farewell message, posted on his Facebook page, Billiat said:
“The time has come for me to say goodbye to a team that has been my home, my pride, and my source of strength. Being part of this incredible family has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and leaving is not an easy decision.
“From the very first day I wore the Big Bullets jersey, I felt the passion and love that surrounds this club. Together, we’ve celebrated victories, faced challenges, and created memories that I will carry with me forever. I am deeply grateful to the management, my teammates, the technical staff, and most importantly, the fans, who have stood by me every step of the way.
“You’ve cheered for me, motivated me, and inspired me to give my best every time I stepped on the pitch. I will forever cherish the moments we shared and the lessons I’ve learned here.
“Though I am moving on to a new chapter in my journey, Big Bullets will always hold a special place in my heart. This is not just a goodbye; it’s a heartfelt thank you.
“Wishing the team continued success in the seasons to come. The sky is the limit! With love and gratitude.”
The club wishes Billiat the very best of luck for the future!
