Super League KO times revert to 14h30

The Super League of Malawi has announced that the kick-off time for all TNM Super League games has reverted to 14h30 from 15h00.

In September, Sulom adjusted the time of kick-off for all league matches to 15h00 due to the weather forecast and projected heat wave in Malawi.

But on Tuesday afternoon, Sulom announced the change to go back to the normal 14h30.

“The Super League of Malawi wishes to announce that due to the commencement of the rainy season, kick-off time for league games reverts to 14:30hrs; starting from Matchweek 29,” reads the communication.

This means that our remaining five games against Silver Strikers, Civil Service United, FOMO FC, Karonga United and Kamuzu Barracks will be played at 14h30.

After Wednesday’s Castel Challenge Cup fixture against Changalume Barracks at Mpira Stadium, Kalisto Pasuwa’s men will be in Lilongwe to take on the Central Bankers at Silver Stadium on Saturday.

Currently, Bullets are third in the standings with 44 points from 25 games, while Silver Strikers, with a game in hand, are top with 54 points, and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers, with the same number of games as The People’s Team, come second with 50 points.
