FCB Nyasa Big Bullets midfielder Yankho Singo has been honored as the 2024 Airtel Top 8 Player of the Tournament.
This was confirmed on Wednesday evening during the Airtel Top 8 Zamadolo Awards ceremony held in Blantyre.
Singo outshone his teammate Richard Chimbamba and Silver Strikers forward Chinsisi Maonga to claim the coveted award.
The 24-year-old showcased remarkable consistency, playing every minute of the competition to help The People’s Team successfully defend cup—the sole piece of silverware secured among the four trophies we claimed during the 2023 season.
Across the four matches Bullets contested, Singo recorded one assist. Notably, he was the only nominee to feature for the full 360 minutes of the Airtel Top 8 seventh edition, whereas Maonga and Chimbamba each participated in three games.
