FCB Nyasa Big Bullets U19s will take on Lyzee United in their sixth fixture of the 2024 FCB Katswiri Under 20 League at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday morning.
Lyzee United only debuted in the youth league this season after playing in the Under 16 league the previous term.
Facing young Maule in the opening match of the 2024 African Herbal Mixture Cup, Bullets emerged with a 1-0 victory.
As the two teams meet this weekend, United will look to continue their winning form after beating Mighty Mukuru Wanderers Youth 1-0 while Bullets will be hoping for a fifth win this campaign after drawing 1-1 against Griffin Young Stars last Sunday.
A win for our youngsters will see them solidifying their spot at the top of the standings.
Coach Yamikani Fodya told club media ahead of the tie that the boys were ready for the challenge.
“Lyzee is a good team, they manage to score and defend as well. The draw against Griffin Young Stars has helped us learn something we need to polish up. We know that every team that is playing against us are coming hard with the intent to win. The boys are ready for the challenge on Sunday.”
Our Under 19s have found the back of the net 11 times in five games this new campaign. They have conceded a single goal.
