HTD Player of the Month Nominees for November

Vote for November Men’s HTD Player of the Month

Four players have been nominated for the Men’s HTD Player of the Month for November following a month of strong individual performances for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.

The nominees are Babatunde Adepoju, Chikumbutso Salima, Ephraim Kondowe and Chawanangwa Gumbo. Each of the four stepped up during a demanding November that tested the squad, delivering moments to cheer despite mixed results in our TNM Super League title chase, as attention quickly turned back to the league following our FDH Bank Cup semifinal exit on the second day of the month.

Let’s take a closer look at how each nominee performed during the month:

Babatunde Adepoju

Babatunde featured in all three matches played during November, contributing with both goals and assists during a challenging run of fixtures.

The forward provided a crucial assist in the thrilling 4–3 comeback victory over Civil Service United at Kamuzu Stadium, a match in which Bullets overturned deficits twice. With the score at 3–2, Baba teed up Chikumbutso Salima for Bullets’ fourth goal, easing the pressure in a pulsating encounter.

He was also on the scoresheet in the 2–0 victory over Kamuzu Barracks at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe, heading in Bullets’ second goal to seal the win. The month concluded with a 2–0 away defeat to Creck Sporting Club, but Adepoju’s overall contribution stood out.

Chikumbutso Salima

Salima enjoyed a memorable month, producing a match-winning display in the dramatic 4–3 victory over Civil Service United, where he scored his first hat-trick in Bullets colours.

The winger struck at crucial moments as the game reached its boiling point and was deservedly named Player of the Match. He followed that up with another influential showing against Kamuzu Barracks, opening the scoring in the 2–0 win in Lilongwe, while also registering an assist. Salima earned back-to-back Player of the Match awards, underlining his impact.

Ephraim Kondowe

Although Kondowe did not get on the scoresheet in November, his influence was felt in other key areas.

The forward’s high pressing, energy and work rate troubled physical opponents, allowing Bullets to sustain attacking momentum. He consistently added numbers going forward and played an important role in two of the three victories recorded during the month.

Chawanangwa Gumbo

Gumbo was involved in all three matches and provided an assist in the 2–0 victory over Kamuzu Barracks in Lilongwe.

His presence in midfield brought balance and stability to the side, offering defensive cover while supporting attacks. One of the most consistent performers in Peter Mponda’s team this season, Gumbo continues to work tirelessly and remains a key figure for The People’s Team across all competitions.

Voting is now open – Bullets fans, have your say and help crown the November Men’s HTD Player of the Month!
