Nyasa Big Bullets fans have voted for Precious Sambani as the Hubertus Clausius July Player of the Month.
This follows his continued impressive form in the TNM Super League and FDH Bank Cup competitions.
Sambani got 86.9 percent of the votes above Babatunde Adepoju and Kesten Simbi, who got 12.5 percent and 0.6 percent of the SMSs as voted by fans via mobile using the club’s 441 SMS platform.
The fullback, who missed the final part of last season due to injury, was on the scoresheet when Bullets defeated Ekwendeni Hammers 2-0 in the TNM Super League.
He also played a vital role during Bullets’ league ties; the 1-1 draw with Kamuzu Barracks and the 1-3 win over Rumphi United away in the North.
The 24-year-old is the only player in the current Bullets squad to feature for all the 19 games that The People’s Team has played in the league and the three cup games that saw Bullets progress to the FDH Cup quarterfinals.
He joins Chimwemwe Idana and Patrick Mwaungulu on the list of the players who have won the monthly award since its introduction four months ago.
Congratulations, Sambani!
