FCB Nyasa Big Bullets team manager James Chilapondwa, goalkeeper trainer Vincent Gona and reserves coach Enos Chatama have been given roles with the Malawi national teams.
The Football Association of Malawi has made several changes to the men’s senior and Under-20 technical staff.
Chilapodwa has been appointed as the assistant technical support manager who will be working with James Sangala.
At Under 20, Gona is the goalkeeper trainer, while Chatama was named the second assistant coach to Bob Mpinganjira.
Their first assignments will be at the four-nation tournament, slated for 18-26 March in Lilongwe before the FIFA World Cup qualifiers next month.
It is the first time for Chilapondwa and Gona to be involved with the national teams, but it’s the second return to national duty for Chatama, who was previously part of the Under-17 and Under-20 technical panels.
