Strikes from Precious Chamangwana and Kelvin Chimodzi were enough for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Under 19s to collect all three points with a 2-1 win over Manchester Motors in the FCB Katswiri Under 20 League at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday.

Bullets continued to push forward, and Chamangwana had another chance to double his tally, only to see his shot deflected to win us another corner kick in the 9th minute. Vincent Kampira’s lightning-quick exchange with Chimodzi left the hosts scrambling to defuse the attack.
Motors equalised in the 11th minute when they capitalised on a momentary lapse in our defence. Movic Banda’s strike sent the home fans into raptures.
As the half progressed, both teams engaged in an enthralling end-to-end battle, with each side creating scoring opportunities. Motors won another corner kick in the 16th minute, but Bullets’ defence stood firm, thwarting the danger.
George thought he had restored our lead with a stunning strike, only to be denied by the offside flag.
The intense action continued until the 28th minute when Banda was substituted due to injury, making way for Martin Sangala.
As the half drew to a close, both teams intensified their pursuit of goals, exchanging blows in a captivating display of footballing prowess. The opening half ended with the score tantalizingly at 1-1.
The second half exploded into action, with young Maule doubling their lead through Chimodzi, who received a brilliant pass from Dominic Kayamba, a mere 48 seconds after the restart!
Bullets youth dominated the play, showcasing their mastery of passing and possession. They launched a series of attacks, seeking to extend their lead.
A quadruple substitution by Yamikani Fodya in the 65th minute introduced fresh legs, as Yusufu Chambakata, Issah Felix, Jimmy Zakazaka Jnr and Owen Themu replaced Brian Mwase, Adam, Chimodzi, and George, respectively.
As the match entered its final stages, our U19s won another corner kick in the 78th minute. Chamangwana stepped up to take it, but Blessings Mhone produced a spectacular save to deny the effort.
