FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have secured the services of striker Movic Banda, who joins the club from Manchester Motors on a four-year contract.
The 17-year-old, who joins our reserves, had an impressive two-year stint at Motors, netting 23 goals across all competitions. In his final season, he was the joint top scorer in the FCB Katswiri Under-19 League, registering 14 goals.
Said Banda after putting pen to paper: “It has been my dream to wear this jersey. I’ve aspired to play for Bullets, and now that dream has come true with this contract. My focus is on representing this badge with pride and using the reserves as a stepping stone to reach the main team. It won’t be easy, but I’m confident it’s achievable. I know hard work will be key to contributing to the club.”
“When I heard Bullets were interested in me, I couldn’t contain my excitement and barely slept, eager to sign the deal. This club opens doors for young players to thrive, and I’m giving my word to the coaches—I’ll give everything I’ve got. This opportunity fuels me with greater determination, and I plan to use it to elevate my career. I’m ready to make history with this top club.”
Bullets Reserves coach Heston Munthali said: “Movic is an exceptional young talent who brings exactly what our team needs. We’re thrilled to have him on board and excited to help him grow. We’ll provide him with the platform to showcase his abilities and work with him to realize his ambitions.”
Banda has become the newest member of the club, marking our fifth signing for the reserves as the team strengthens its roster following the promotion of several players to the first team and transfers to other clubs.
On Friday, the team introduced Prince Chiumia as a new member of the junior squad. Earlier signings include Kondwani Chaula, Mathews Nkunika, and Mtende Stago.
