FCB Nyasa Big Bullets enjoyed a productive weekend across all levels of the club, recording positive results in the NBM Women’s Premiership, the SRFA ThumbsUp League, the TNM Super League and the BDYFL Under-20 competition.

Women claim maximum points in Mzuzu
Bullets Women produced a composed and disciplined performance to return to winning ways with a commanding 2-0 victory over MK Academy on Friday afternoon at Mzuzu Stadium.
The important away win lifted the team to 18 points from 11 matches, taking them into third position as the league heads into a short break.
Silver Strikers Ladies remain top with 30 points, while Ascent Soccer Academy are second on 26 points after beating Mighty Wanderers Queens 3-1.
MDF Lioness dropped to fourth with 18 points following a 2-1 defeat to Civo Women.
With the NBM Women’s Premiership now on hold due to national team engagements, Bullets proudly have three players called up to the Malawi Women’s National Team, the Scorchers.
Reserves extend unbeaten run with point at Moneymen
Bullets Reserves remained inside the top four of the 2025 SRFA ThumbsUp League after a 1-1 draw with league leaders Chilobwe United on Saturday at Moneymen Ground.
The young Maule sit fourth with 42 points, though still searching for a victory after recording three consecutive draws — a run they will look to break when they return to action on Thursday.
Chilobwe United remain top with 49 points, while Ekhaya Reserves climbed to second on 46 following a convincing 7-2 win over Tigers Reserves.
Wanderers Reserves dropped to third on 44 points after their match against FOMO Reserve was postponed.
Bullets Reserves return to action on Thursday at Kamuzu Stadium, facing Ntopwa FC in what promises to be an entertaining midweek fixture.
First Team go top after seven-goal thriller
At Kamuzu Stadium, the first team delivered one of the most electrifying matches of the TNM Super League season in a 4-3 seven-goal thriller against Civo Service United.
Civo took the lead twice in the first half, but Bullets showed exceptional determination to turn the game around and lead 3-2 at the break.
Chikumbutso Salima was the standout performer, scoring a sensational hat-trick, while Civo’s Chikaiko Batson also registered three goals in a rare double-hat-trick showdown.
The win lifted Bullets to the summit of the table with 53 points from 23 games, one point ahead of Mighty Wanderers, who have a game in hand.
Silver Strikers remain third with 41 points, while Civo are fourth with 37 points, tied with Karonga United but ahead on goal difference.
U19s continue perfect second-round form
Elsewhere in the academy ranks, Bullets Under-19 produced a well-executed comeback to defeat Ntopwa Youth 3-2 in the Blantyre District Youth Football Association Under-20 League on Sunday morning at Kamuzu Stadium.
The win takes the youngsters to 40 points from 19 matches, maintaining their perfect second-round run with four wins in four games.
They now sit two points behind leaders Wanderers Youth, who moved to 42 points following a goalless draw with Griffin Youngsters.
Soche Madrid remain third with 40 points but trail Bullets on goal difference, while Ekhaya stay fourth on 34 points after their match against Yizo Yizo was abandoned.
