FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have confirmed their starting XI for this afternoon’s TNM Super League clash against Creck Sporting Club at Aubrey Dimba Stadium, where The People’s Team looks to strengthen their position at the top of the standings.
Peter Mponda’s men head to Mchinji fresh from Thursday’s 2-0 win over Kamuzu Barracks in Lilongwe and will be aiming to wrap up their Central Region tour with another crucial result as the title race tightens.
This is Bullets’ first-ever competitive match in the Central Region border district, having beaten Blue Eagles 2-1 in a preseason friendly at the same venue in March.
Mponda has made three changes to the side that defeated Kamuzu Barracks midweek.
Centre back Blessings Mpokera misses out after suffering a metatarsal fracture on Thursday and is expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks, with Blessings Joseph stepping into the back line.
Aaron Chilipa is unavailable due to loan regulations between the two clubs, opening the door for Paul Master to start in midfield while Chrispin Mapemba moves back up the left wing. Peter Banda also returns to the XI, replacing Ephraim Kondowe in attack.

The bench offers strong options, with Kondowe—who started three days ago—dropping to the substitutes. Zambian left-back Dominic Musonda and forwards Bright Munthali and Hassan Kajoke, who were introduced in the second half on Thursday, are also available to provide attacking and defensive reinforcement if needed.
Bullets enter the afternoon at the summit of the TNM Super League with 56 points from 24 games, holding a narrow lead over second-placed Mighty Wanderers, who sit on 55 points and play their 24th fixture away in Chitipa today.
Creck Sporting are 10th on 30 points and come into the match buoyed by last weekend’s 1-0 win over Karonga United at Aubrey Dimba Stadium.
With both the title race and the contest for top-eight places tightening, this afternoon’s clash promises another high-stakes test as Bullets look to maintain momentum in their championship defence.
