Chikumbutso Salima has been crowned December Men’s HTD Player of the Month following another month of stellar performances for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.
The winger topped the fan poll with 44.14% of the votes, reflecting his consistent impact as the 2025 TNM Super League season drew to a close.
Salima, who was also November Men’s HTD Player of the Month, carried his fine form into December, cementing his status as one of the team’s standout performers.
The 24-year-old finished the season as a joint top scorer with 15 goals, including a brace and an assist in the final 4-0 victory over Mzuzu City Hammers, helping Maule secure second place in the league.
His attacking contributions, combined with creativity and consistency throughout the season, were instrumental in The People’s Team’s strong finish.
Other nominees also impressed fans and pundits alike. Defender Khumbo Banda earned 38.39% of the votes thanks to his solid performances in a makeshift centre-half role.
Midfielder Wongani Lungu contributed key goals and assists to finish third with 9.66%, while forward Babatunde Adepoju, who returned to Venda Football Club at the end of his loan on 31 December, closed the poll with 7.82%.
