Cedric Mwachumu will take charge of Sunday’s FDH Bank Premiership Matchweek 6 encounter between FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Moyale Barracks at Joyce Chitsulo Stadium in Mwanza.
The 14:30 kickoff arrives at an important stage of the early campaign as Maule seek a return to winning ways following consecutive league draws against Red Lions and Blue Eagles.
Attention will also turn to the officiating panel tasked with overseeing another competitive afternoon of top-flight football in Mwanza.
Mwachumu returns for another Bullets assignment after previously handling the goalless draw against Red Lions at Joyce Chitsulo Stadium earlier this month.
The referee has also overseen several notable matches involving The People’s Team in recent seasons, including the Castel Challenge Cup Round of 16 victory over Ndirande Stars as well as league encounters against Mighty Tigers and Karonga United.
Happiness Mbandambanda, Assistant Referee 1
Experienced assistant referee Happiness Mbandambanda has been named on the officiating panel for the first time this season involving Bullets.
Widely regarded as one of the country’s most respected assistant referees, Mbandambanda has officiated numerous top-flight matches involving Maule across recent campaigns.
Her latest involvement in a Bullets match came in December 2025 when she served as assistant referee during the league encounter against Ekhaya FC at Mpira Stadium.
Joseph Nyauti, Assistant Referee 2
Joseph Nyauti completes the assistant referees’ panel and will assist with key touchline decisions throughout Sunday’s encounter.
The official was last involved in a Bullets fixture in December 2024 when Maule faced FOMO FC before the Mulanje-based side’s relegation from the top flight.
Ernest Kapazi, Fourth Official
Ernest Kapazi has been appointed as fourth official and will supervise the technical areas while also assisting with substitutions and matchday administrative duties.
Kapazi previously handled two Bullets matches during the 2025 season — first as centre referee in the FDH Bank Cup Round of 16 encounter against The Boyz in September before returning as fourth official for the TNM Super League clash against MAFCO FC the following month.
Chalvin Ngolanga, Match Assessor
Chalvin Ngolanga will serve as match assessor for Sunday’s encounter and is expected to evaluate the overall performance of the officiating panel across the 90 minutes.
Ngolanga has previously worked in four matches involving Maule, with his latest assignment coming in January during the Castel Challenge Cup Round of 16 victory over Ndirande Stars.
The officiating panel brings together officials with previous experience in Bullets fixtures as Sunday’s encounter prepares to add another chapter to the early-season campaign in Mwanza.
