FCB Nyasa Big Bullets continued their encouraging progress over the weekend as the first team extended their unbeaten FDH Bank Premiership start with a second successive victory, the reserves earned a valuable away point in the SRFA FINCA Division One League, and the club’s loanees continued their development through regular competitive football.
First Team
Bullets made it back-to-back league victories with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Masters FC at Mpira Stadium.
Ephraim Kondowe’s second-half penalty proved decisive after Bullets dictated proceedings for long spells, controlled possession and created the better opportunities to mark their first league fixture in Blantyre this season with maximum points.
The victory extended Bullets’ unbeaten league start to eight matches, leaving the People’s Team as the only side yet to suffer defeat this season.
It also continued the encouraging progress under Wedson Nyirenda as Bullets build momentum and find their rhythm ahead of this weekend’s trip to Creck Sporting Club.

Bullets’ loan contingent continued to gain valuable senior experience over the weekend, beginning on Friday when Prince Chalera and Hadji Steven featured for Bangwe All Stars in a narrow 1-0 defeat to Namitete Zitha in the NBS National Division League at Mpira Stadium.
Despite the result, both players added further competitive minutes as they continued their development through regular first-team football.
The focus then shifted to Sunday, when Oscar Petro completed another 90 minutes for Civil Service United as The Servants secured a 1-0 away victory over Creck Sporting Club at Aubrey Dimba Stadium in Mchinji.
The win marked Civil Service United’s third FDH Bank Premiership victory of the campaign.
Petro’s latest full-match appearance also underlined the continued value of his loan spell as he gains consistent top-flight experience.
