Starting XI: Phodo returns as Bullets make two changes

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have named the starting XI for this afternoon’s FDH Bank Premiership match against Goshen City Dedza Dynamos at Dedza Stadium.

Bullets are seeking a return to winning ways after last weekend’s goalless draw against Ekhaya FC, with The People’s Team heading into Matchweek 11 third in the standings with 20 points.

Two changes have been made to the side that started against Ekhaya, with Henry Chiwaya and Maxwell Phodo replacing Prince Chiumia and George Chaomba.

Chiumia misses the encounter after sustaining a groin injury during Thursday’s training session, while Chaomba is named among the substitutes.

Phodo returns to the starting lineup after missing our previous two encounters against Ekhaya. The forward resumed full training during the week and was included in the squad that travelled to the Central Region.

Chawanangwa Gumbo retains the captain’s armband in the absence of Blessings Mpokera, who remains sidelined with a groin injury.

Innocent Nyasulu starts in goal behind a back four of Chiwaya, Yamikani Mologeni, Andrew Jovinala and Emmanuel Kaunga.

Gumbo is joined in midfield by Wongani Lungu and Peter Banda, while Clever Kalambo and Phodo provide support for Ephraim Kondowe in attack.

The technical team also has several options on the bench, with goalkeeper McLean Mwale joined by Edward Thengo, Yankho Singo, Frank Willard, Sean McBrams, Dastan Banda, Misheck Billiat, Chaomba and Madalitso Safuli.
