Following the greenlight given to the Malawi national team to resume training in preparation for the forthcoming international assignments, Flames coach Meck Mwase has included nine Nyasa Big Bullets players in his squad.
The national team coach has picked 21 local-based players to go into camp at the Mpira Village in Blantyre on Monday, according to a communication made by FAM on Saturday. Malawi will face Burkina Faso in the 2022 AFCON Qualifiers in November.
Bullets players called for national duty include:
Goalkeepers: Rabson Chiyenda and Ernest Kakhobwe. Defenders: Gomezgani Chirwa, Precious Sambani and Nickon Nyasulu. Midfielders: Chimango Kaira, Chimwemwe Idana and Peter Banda. Striker: Hassan Kajoke.
